This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics and makes no external requests. Everything below is about the details you give us on the phone when you book a repair.
What the website itself collects
Nothing. There is no analytics script, no tag manager, no advertising pixel, no embedded video, no third-party font and no external stylesheet. Fonts are served from this domain. No cookie is set by this site. Nothing you do on these pages is recorded by us.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network request needed to deliver a page, and it keeps its own operational logs under its own terms. We do not receive, request or store those logs.
What we collect when you contact us
When you telephone Meridian Appliance Works to arrange a repair, we record only what is needed to carry out the work:
- your name and the telephone number we can reach you on;
- the service address, because the ZIP code affects the diagnosis;
- the appliance, its model and serial number, and what it is doing;
- the estimate, the invoice and the record of parts fitted.
That information is used to schedule the visit, order parts, issue the estimate and invoice, and honour the labour and parts warranty afterwards. It is not used for anything else.
Who else sees it
Parts distributors receive the model and serial number when a component has to be ordered. They do not receive your name or address from us unless a part is being shipped directly to you, in which case they receive only what the carrier needs.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share customer information with anyone for marketing. There is no mailing list. We do not send promotional messages.
How long we keep it
Job records are kept for as long as the warranty on that work could still be claimed, and then for as long as Florida record-keeping and tax requirements demand. After that they are destroyed.

Independence
Meridian Appliance Works is an independent appliance repair company. Nothing you send us reaches Thermador or BSH Home Appliances, because there is no relationship through which it could. If you are dealing with the manufacturer's own warranty, you deal with them directly.
